Rapier combat/period fencing is another of the martial arts practiced in the SCA. Each kingdom's rules and fencing styles are different although they all must meet the SCA minimum requirements for fencing. The Barony of the Flame has a strong reputation in rapier combat. Practices are held at the Flightline Gym in the Air Force ROTC building located on the  University of Louisville's campus. Practices are on Tuesday nights from 7:30 - 9pm. Instruction and loaner equipment are available. More information may be obtained by contacting Lord Aidan Blackstone.
